Steering Committee

The Steering Committee directs all collective bargaining activities for the Union. The Steering Committee is made up of the President, First Vice President, Second Vice President, the Recording Secretary, three members elected by the union membership, and two individuals selected by the executive committee from union membership. The Steering Committee’s role is to collect information from the membership to make sure members’ interests are represented at the bargaining table. The Steering Committee also appoints committees to perform outreach and research, and appoints the negotiating team that will represent members’ interests and concerns in negotiations.
